I joined St. Al’s school community when my son started in Montessori.
In 1991, when my son was in second grade I started working as a Montessori teacher assistant. In 1995 I became the Montessori Director and teacher. St. Al’s has been my home now for about 32 years.
I love how children love to learn. I love that they stay in my classroom for usually 3 years. I get to know them and their family really well. I love preparing the environment to encourage exploration. The children fill my life with joy. Teaching in the Montessori method is my passion.

I started at St Al’s during the 1999/2000 school year. This is my 24th school year here.
I love watching the light bulb go off in a child’s mind when they finally master something. The light in their eyes and joy on their faces at the accomplishment.
