Highlights from our Week:
- Christmas Program: We rehearsed a lot at the beginning of the week for this wonderful program!
- Math: Both 3rd and 4th grades reviewed for and took their math tests. Mrs. Dvorak went over them individually with the children, so they know how they did. We will begin new units after break.
- Religion: We continued to pray our Advent prayers, as well as learn about the weeks of Advent. We also attended a beautiful Reconciliation Service on Friday. Through our study of Advent, we have really learned that asking for forgiveness brings us peace.
- Grammar: The 3rd graders continued learning about pronouns and that they are substitutes for nouns. The 4th graders continued making their nouns and verbs agree so their sentences would make sense.
- Writing: The children wrote about the true St. Nicholas after learning about him. Look for those reflections which came home this week. The children also wrote a reflection on the real meaning of Christ
